explosivemedia is production managing Blak Nite, a free festival with live music, talks and screenings. Presented by the City of Melbourne in the Treasury Gardens, the festival celebrates the Indigenous contribution to Australian film and TV.

Darebin Community and Kite Festival 2013 and Koori Pride Youth Festival 2013 were delivered by explosivemedia.These were integral to a season of celebrations for the Darebin community.

For Arts Centre Melbourne’s remarkable reopening of the iconic Hamer Hall, explosivemedia was production manager of large and complex lighting and installation projects. The centrepiece, affectionately known as “The Gladdies”, was poetically launched by Barry Humphries. City of Darebin’s family-friendly Carols in All Nations 2012 benefited from an explosivemedia-led delivery which relocated the stage to create a natural amphitheatre for the 3,000-strong audience. This initiative generated much applause.
