Love Living Local

The City of Darebin together with the Victorian Government through the TravelSmart program, funded the multifaceted Love Living Local.

explosivemedia provided concept development and management of this 2009 project, consisting of:

  • Urban Art – Street Stencils involving local artists and 12 community groups across age groups and interests
  • Street Signs – working with local primary school students
  • Reservoir Journeys – photographic competition resulting in an exhibition of 10 sustainable journeys
  • Party Local – four street parties in various Reservoir locations including the Velodrome and The Hub
  • Champs – Recognition of community contributors.
